Where are you located?
We are located at 750 SW Alder St. in the heart of downtown Portland and one block north of Pioneer Courthouse Square.
Can I check out late?
We try to accommodate late check-out requests when we can – late check-out availability is dependent on the number of check ins we have scheduled for that day. To request a late check out, call or stop by the front desk on the evening before your departure or in the morning on the date you are scheduled to depart. We’ll do our best!
What is required for check in?
A credit or debit card with an ID matching the reservation is required for all arriving reservations. The person checking in must be 21+ years of age. Please note a hold will be placed on the card upon check in for the total amount of room, tax and anticipated incidentals (an additional $75 per day).
What types of transportation are available?
The MAX Red Line goes to and from the airport (take the Pioneer Courthouse Square stop, two blocks from Dossier); the 45-min. ride is $2.50. Uber ($22-50) and cabs ($33-37) are also readily available at the airport; it’s typically a 25-min. ride.
For getting around Portland, Dossier is centrally located, so we’re a quick walk to shops and restaurants. The MAX and Street car lines are just a few blocks away; fares are $2.50 for two hours, or you can get a $5 Day pass. Taxis and Uber are also available.
Is there valet parking?
Yes, valet parking is available for $55 per day with unlimited in-and-out privileges. Our porte cochère is equipped with a Tesla charging station.
Can I charge my electric car?
Yes! We offer electric vehicle charging included with valet parking for hotel guests for $55 per night. Please let our team know upon arrival for parking arrangements as EV charging stations are subject to limited availability.
Where can I print my boarding pass?
Our front desk team is happy to help you print your documents.
Where can I work out?
Our fitness center is on our third floor and open 24 hours a day with room key access. We offer top-of-the-line equipment in our fitness centers, including Peloton Bikes, to our signature Well + Fit kit delivered to your room.
Is there an amenities fee?
Yes, the daily guest amenities fee is $29 plus tax.
Is there any way to do laundry?
We don’t have self-service laundry facilities, but we do offer same-day dry cleaning and laundry service (available on weekdays only). Laundry bags and forms can be found in your closet. Drop your laundry at the front desk by 9am, and you’ll have it back by 6pm.

How can I make calls?
Local and long distance calls are free for our guests.
Can I bring my pet?
Of course! We have a whole range of pet amenities to welcome your companion. A $50 pet fee applies.
Anything else?
Wi-Fi is always included with your stay at The Dossier. Cribs and rollaway beds are available upon request for $30/night and only allowed in rooms Standard King and Premium King rooms.
