The Tastiest Vineyards to Tour in Oregon Wine Country

An Orange Sunset In The BackgroundAn active weekend in Portland might draw some demand for a tranquil autumn adventure out into the countryside. Luckily, Oregon is home to dozens of relaxing wineries not too far from Portland, so you can easily escape to golden environmental views and unwind with a glass of wine… or two. Check out some of our favorite vineyards to venture out before they close for the season.

Perched above marvelous views of the Willamette Valley, Mt. Hood, and Mt. Jefferson, Durant Vineyards was one of the first families to successfully grow mouthwatering grapes in the Dundee Hills. Fifty years later they are still transforming these fruits into decadent wines. But don’t take our word for it! Artfully sculpted and nurtured by the land, Durant wines are so rich and flavorful, we couldn’t resist featuring a few of their bottles in our Sentinel suites.
