Let us help you find the most convenient modes of transportation to set you up for Tacoma’s endless adventures. Hotel Murano is conveniently located just steps from the Greater Tacoma Convention Center and a few blocks from the best museums and restaurants that the city has to offer. 

Downtown Tacoma is extremely walkable and easy to explore by foot. If you are planning on visiting the Tacoma Dome, Waterfront, or venturing further afield, there are car rental services, rideshares, buses, light rail that connects to Seattle, and a number of commuter trains.

Self-Parking in Downtown Tacoma 

For those driving into town, we offer self-parking for $24 per day with EV charging charging stations available, should you need one.

Private Van/Shuttle Service from SEATAC Airport - 45 minutes 

Reserve Premier Airport Shuttle by Capital Aeroporter online or via phone 800-962-2579. Vans Load and Depart from the Transportation Plaza Island 2A. Guests will be dropped off near the main entrance of the hotel.

UBER & LYFT

If you can’t wait for the adventures that Tacoma can offer, rideshare services like Uber or Lyft make traveling convenient.

CAR RENTAL

Hotel Murano is just under 35 minutes by car from the Sea-Tac airport. For those who want to take the wheel themselves, there are also several car rental options available.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Want to take the train from the airport? Find your way to the Tukwila Amtrak station, board the #505 Southbound and exit at Tacoma, board the Link train Northbound, take the Convention Center stop and you’re a few blocks from Hotel Murano.

Driving Directions from SEATAC Airport - 30 minutes 

  • Head southeast on Airport Expressway toward Departures Drive. 
  • Keep left. 
  • Slight left onto Airport Expressway. 
  • Keep right at the fork, follow signs for WA-518 E/I-5/I-405/Seattle/Tacoma and merge onto WA-518 E. 
  • Take the exit onto I-5 S toward Tacoma/Portland. 
  • Continue on I-5 S for 18.4 miles. 
  • Keep left at the fork to stay on I-5 S for two more miles. 
  • Use the right lane to take exit 133 for I-705 North. 
  • Continue onto I-705 N. 
  • Use the middle lane to take the A Street exit toward City Center. 
  • Use the right lane to keep left at the fork and follow signs for S.15 Street/Pacific Avenue. 
  • Continue onto S 15th Street. 
  • Turn right onto Broadway. 
  • Hotel Murano will be on your left. 

Public Transport Directions from SEATAC Airport – 75 minutes 

  • Follow signs to SeaTac Airport Terminal Bay 2. 
  • Board the Sound Transit bus #574 Lakewood Via Federal Way Southbound. (Cost is $3.25 for adults and you can pay the driver in cash.) 
  • Ride the #574 bus for 10 stops (about 54 minutes). 
  • Get off the bus at 26th Street E & D Street E. 
  • Walk west a few steps on E 26th Street toward E D Street. 
  • Turn right onto E D Street and follow two blocks. 
  • Turn right onto E 25th Street to Tacoma Dome Station, on your left. 
  • Take the TLINK three stops to the Convention Center Station. 
  • Head west on S 15th Street toward Commerce Street. 
  • Turn right onto Broadway. 
  • Hotel Murano will be on your left.
